ABSTRACT
Contents of lead and arsenic were determined in 617 tobacco samples 80 cigarettes. The mean content was 0.93 microg/g (range 0.02-8.56 microg/g) 0.15 < 0.02-2.04 microg/g). cigarettes 1.26 0.02-6.72 0.11 0.02-0.71 micro/g). There a large variability among Positive correlation between contents found (r = 0.22; p 0.0001). Based on our data from literature we compare the other studies discuss influence smoking to exposure health. In conclusion, at same time with implementation use prevention programmes it is advisable implement continuous monitoring order reduce health risk due these metals.
