ABSTRACT
The study aims to build a water quality index that fits the Iraqi aquatic systems and reflects environmental reality of water. developed Water Quality Index (IQWQI) includes physical chemical components. To IQWQI, Delphi method was used communicate with local global experts in indices for their opinion regarding best most important parameter we can use building established weight each parameter. From data obtained this study, 70% were model 30% evaluating model. Multiple scenarios applied inputs effects increasing parameters. built 4 by until it reached 17 parameters 10 sampling times. Obviously, number parameters, value will change. minimize effect eclipse arises WQI solve problem overlapping pollution, has created another linked which included both degree pollution. second is called Environmental Risk (ERI), where only variables exceed permissible limits included.
