Two apple [ Malus sylvestris (L.) Mill. var. domestica (Borkh.) Mansf.] homologous fragments of FLO/LFY and SQUA/AP1 ( AFL MdAP1 , respectively) were analyzed to determine the relationship between floral bud formation gene expression in `Jonathan' apple.
