ABSTRACT
Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is growing at a fast pace and permeates many aspects of people’s daily lives. Medical students’ inclination towards AI in the medical field increases probability successful adoption its value field. This study was conducted to evaluate readiness among undergraduate students. A cross-sectional from March 2022 April private institution Malaysia. non-probability purposive sampling method used enroll students questionnaire distributed online via Google Forms. The questionnaire, captioned “Medical Intelligence Readiness Scale for Students (MAIRS-MS)”, data collection. analysis included frequency tables, percentages, standard deviation, unpaired t-test, variance (ANOVA) test. Out 105 participants, 67.62% scored 53 83, followed by 24.76%, who 84 114, 7.62%, 22 52 on scale. mean total score obtained 75.04. There were significant correlations between age year with ability, vision, ethics domains readiness. association observed previous training all four Policymakers educational sector should set up more centers provide introduce basic courses AI. More be provided younger populations engage digital information earlier, thus enabling them acquire confidence interacting future.
