ABSTRACT
The role of exercise in the treatment and prevention neurodegenerative diseases continues to remain unclear despite studies. In our study, protective effect treadmill on molecular pathways cognitive behaviors was investigated AD model induced by scopolamine. For that purpose, male Balb/cmice which separated from their mothers day 21 were subjected for 12 weeks. last 4 weeks exercise, scopolamine injection (2mg/kg,once a day) administered intraperitoneally mice. Following emotional evaluated with open field test morris water maze test. hippocampus prefrontal cortex mice isolated BDNF, TrkB, p-GSK3ßSer389 levels Western blotting, APP Aß-40 analyzed immunohistochemistry. In administration caused impairment functions. Scopolamine decrease p-GSK3ßSer389, BDNF TrkB hippocampus. cortex, decreased, while increased. As result immunohistochemical analysis, it found increased neuronal perineuronal areas administration. It had effects against There an increase group. also increases cortex. analysis observed decreased groups. In conclusion, long-term may have scopolamine. can be suggested this is mediated level GSK3ßSer389 phosphorylation.
