ABSTRACT
Foundation pit excavation may cause excessive uplift displacement and structural damage to the underlying shield tunnel. In this paper, rationality of excavation-induced inputs in current force-based displacement-based methods is analyzed theoretically verified by comparing elastic finite element method (FEM) continuum solution. Then, force input modified load amplification factor obtain a reasonable tunnel response, calculation given. Based on mechanism tunnel-soil interaction, difference between Winkler subgrade moduli under active passive conditions analyzed. It recommended that should be adopted inputs, respectively. By solution solution, validity verified. Thus, with proposed. Finally, proposed applied case study, its applicability measured results FEM analysis HS-Small model.
