ABSTRACT
This study on laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) in-situ alloying of Fe-25Cr-15Co (wt.%) permanent magnetic alloy addresses the anisotropy in texture, microstructure, and properties through comprehensively microstructural characterizations, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), optical microscopy (OM), electron backscatter (EBSD), transmission (TEM). The properties, mechanical specimens displayed anisotropy. [[EQUATION]] fiber texture Goss type [[EQUATION]]〈001〉 appear vertical plane as-built sample, which makes sample have anisotropic properties. longitudinal parallel to building direction has better its [[EQUATION]], [[EQUATION]]are 22.35 kA/m, 0.84 T 7.24 kJ/m3, were than those prepared by traditional method. Hardness compression experiments show that LPBF-built Fe-Cr-Co samples significant results are equivalent or as-cast samples.
