ABSTRACT
Loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) is a versatile technique for detection of target DNA and RNA, enabling rapid molecular diagnostic assays with minimal equipment. The global SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has presented an urgent need new better methods, colorimetric LAMP utilized in numerous studies detection. However, the sensitivity early reports been below that standard RT-qPCR tests, we sought to improve performance. Here report use guanidine hydrochloride combined primer sets increase speed LAMP, bringing this simple method up standards sophisticated techniques accurate, high-throughput diagnostics.
