ABSTRACT
Purpose: Direct immunofluorescence (DIF) on frozen sections (DIF-F) plays a key role in the identification and differential diagnosis of bullous dermatoses, which are group critical autoimmune diseases that include pemphigus, pemphigoid (BP), epidermolysis bullosa acquisita (EBA). However, this technique requires specialized laboratory equipment conditions, sample acquisition preservation. In study, application value DIF paraffin-embedded tissue (DIF-P) detecting IgG using heat-induced antigen retrieval (HIAR) dermatosis was explored. Patients Methods: Samples from 12 patients with pemphigus vulgaris (PV), 10 foliaceus (PF), 17 BP, 4 EBA were retrospectively studied for DIF-P detection. Formalin-fixed, (FFPE) used, method used experiment HIAR. All diagnosed disease (AIBD) based clinical presentation, histopathology, DIF-F, enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results: Intercellular staining epidermis successful 11 PV samples all PF samples. at basement membrane zone (BMZ) not detected by immunofluorescent BP Conclusion: The detection HIAR can be as an alternative to DIF-F. Keywords: direct immunofluorescence, IgG, section,
