ABSTRACT
Background: Aesthetic minimally invasive procedures have become very popular and culturally acceptable among Middle Eastern populations. Botulinum neurotoxin type A (BoNTA) is a valuable treatment modality for many cosmetic as well therapeutic indications. The presence of BoNTA in our toolkit has revolutionized the field aesthetic medicine to point where it now one most commonly performed worldwide. This consensus considers on- off-label indications East. Methods: multinational group ten key opinion leaders, experts facial plastic surgery dermatology, convened East Aesthetics Consensus Group reviewed applications BoNTA. Recommendations position statements were drafted based on integration panel's clinical experience with published data, targeted practices implemented global population. Results: Guidance are presented covering characteristics beauty ideals, characteristics, pre-operative counselling, anatomical considerations, special uses including high-dose recommendations, post-treatment advice. Throughout, an evidence-based approach selection products injection techniques provided, supplemented by experts' advice injections dosages placement.
