ABSTRACT
Port-wine stains (PWS) are predominantly located on the face and neck. Hence, PWS affect not only aesthetic appearance but may also cause psychological distress. However, very few studies have researched quality of life (QoL) in Chinese patients with PWS.To evaluate QoL PWS.Skindex-29 Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) were used to investigate healthy controls.In total, 198 adults 200 controls included. The scores symptomatic, emotional functional dimensions Skindex-29 observational group significantly higher as compared control (P<0.05). Female gender, lesion location treatment history (such pulsed dye laser or photodynamic therapy) had a negative impact (emotional dimensions) PWS. median DLQI score was 3 points 0 (P<0.05), who previous treatments diminished.The is impaired.
