ABSTRACT
Background: The thromboprophylactic efficacy of graduated compression stockings (GCS) has not yet been demonstrated in acutely ill medical patients, and guidelines vary considerably. Older patients appear to constitute a distinctive population presenting high risks both thrombosis bleeding. Objective: To evaluate the practices beliefs panel French geriatricians regarding GCS management aged over 75 years. Methods: A survey was designed study geriatric practice concerning use for thromboprophylaxis. Results: total 111 answered questionnaire.
