ABSTRACT
Aim: In this study, we attempted to regulate the preparation of Alg-CS-Flu three-dimensional scaffolds via a facile freeze-drying method combined with amidation. Materials and methods: Three-dimensional porous flurbiprofen-grafted alginate (Alg)–chitosan (CS) were successfully prepared by amidation for skin tissue engineering applications. Alg-CS composite was first used load flurbiprofen (Flu), which is kind anti-inflammatory non-steroidal molecule. The Flu-loaded Alg/CS solution, through 1-ethyl-3(3-(dimethylamino)propyl) carbodiimide/N-hydroxysuccinimide crosslinking form an scaffold, exhibited uniform morphology that characterized using scanning electron microscopy. as-prepared scaffold also Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, water contact angle, thermal properties, stress-strain testing. Results: results reveal Flu grafted onto surfaces showed good hydrophilicity appropriate mechanical properties. Furthermore, cell viability, from cells cultured in vitro, hematoxylin-eosin staining after graft subcutaneously embedded mice 7 d demonstrated had no unfavorable effects on adhesion proliferation fibroblasts, as well property. Conclusion: developed proposed promising material or application. Keywords: flurbiprofen, freeze-drying, amidation,
