ABSTRACT
Abstract: A synergistic approach by the combination of magnetic nanoparticles with an alternating field for transdermal drug delivery was investigated. Methotrexate-loaded silk fibroin were prepared using suspension-enhanced dispersion supercritical CO 2 . The physiochemical properties characterized. In vitro studies on permeation across skin performed under different fields in comparison passive diffusion. flux enhancement factor found to increase a stationary field, while enhanced more effectively; and fields, which has massage-like effect skin, achieved best result. mechanistic attenuated total reflection Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy demonstrate that can change ordered structure stratum corneum lipid bilayers from gel lipid-crystalline state, fluidity lipids, thus enhancing penetration. Compared other groups, fluorescence signal bigger area detected deeper regions also reveals simulated massage could enhance increasing follicular transport. stationary/alternating potential effective delivery.
