ABSTRACT
Retained products of conception and placenta accreta spectrum are causes postpartum hemorrhage. Placenta is frequently managed with cesarean hysterectomy, but conservative approaches emerging. We present a case delayed hemorrhage secondary to retained increta.A 29-year-old G3P2 presented heavy vaginal bleeding 20 days postoperatively following an uncomplicated classical delivery at 27 5/7 weeks' gestation for preterm labor in the setting vasa previa. On workup, imaging showed concern accreta. A hypervascular area lower uterine segment was identified time laparotomy. Total abdominal hysterectomy performed due clinical suspicion disorder. Pathology confirmed increta.Diagnosis remote period uncommon should be considered etiology Careful inspection documentation implantation site occur sections because disorders can remain unnoticed during delivery.
