ABSTRACT
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the sixth most common cancer globally and primary cause of death in cases, with significant public health concern worldwide.Despite overall decline incidence mortality rates HCC recent years years, emergence metabolic liver disease-related causing heightened concern, especially countries like United States, Kingdom, P.R. China.The escalation attributed to a combination factors, including genetic predisposition, lifestyle choices, changes living environment.However, pathogenesis disease-associated remains imperfect.In this review, we encapsulate latest advances essential aspects HCC, alcoholic disease (ALD), dysfunction-associated steatotic (MASLD), inherited diseases.
