ABSTRACT
Inflammation is one of the major pathways in progression hypertension (HTN), and related inflammatory markers have demonstrated certain predictive values. The current study aimed to integrate these construct an prognostic scoring (IPS) system assess values IPS patients with HTN.A total 9846 adult participants HTN from NHANES 1999-2010 were enrolled followed up. Demographic characteristics laboratory results for 12 collected. LASSO-COX regression, Kaplan-Meier, restricted cubic spline COX regression (RCS), receiver operator characteristic curve (ROC), random survival forests (RSF) analysis applied explore individual parameters. At census date follow-up, 2387 (24.2%) identified as all-cause deaths 484 (4.9%) cardiovascular deaths. All showed Then, based on LAASO analysis, LDH, ALP, LYM, NLR, MLR, SIRI, RDW included construction system. higher had significantly worse long-term prognosis Kaplan-Meier (p log-rank <0.001). Also, remained independent prognosticator compared lowest quartile (All p trend <0.001), ROC satisfactory both mortality. RCS further a linear association mortality non-linearity >0.05). Two different algorithms RSF, variable importance minimal depth, evaluate that was best prediction. Our highlight (system integrating markers) associated increased risk HTN, suggesting useful method stratification HTN.
