ABSTRACT
Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate Jordanian healthcare professionals' knowledge, skills, and experience in dealing with treating adult asthmatic patients assess compliance the Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) guideline recommendations asthma treatment management Jordan. Patients Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted Jordan between May June 2023. included physicians, pharmacists, nurses working clinical settings directly interacting Jordan's private governmental facilities who were eligible participate this research. Three primary sections of an online constructed using Google Forms demographic data, a diagnosis illness, list worldwide medical references asthma. Results: total 300 professionals, including pharmacists (103), (87), Doctor Pharmacy (28), physicians (82), took part The respondents' general knowledge nature symptoms is quite high, exceeding 84% 86%, respectively. also showed high degree awareness diagnosis. It revealed that around one-quarter participants consistently reported severity most frequent factor influencing decision take controller or maintenance medicines symptom (reported from 86% participants). GINA guidelines selected as information source by almost half participants. Finally, 47% aware GINA's 2019 adjustments recommendations. Conclusion: professionals understand nature, symptoms, diagnoses disease. However, many lack adherence, awareness, understanding about management.
