ABSTRACT
To investigate the association of bedtime with risk early-onset diabetes mellitus (DM) and islet beta cell function.138 participants treat-naïve DM were included in this study. All underwent a 75g oral glucose tolerance test. Sleep habit was obtained through standardized questionnaire. Bedtime categorized as < 22:00, 22:00-24:00, ≥ 24:00 Multivariate logistic regression multiple linear used to estimate between function, respectively.Patients had later than those late-onset DM. Individuals higher prevalence at 22:00-24:00 22:00 (51.2% vs 29.3% 14.3%, respectively, p = 0.028). The multivariate showed that per hour associated 52% increased (p 0.023). Patients after 146% compared went bed (OR 2.46, 95% CI 1.05 5.77, 0.039). independently negatively correlated late-phase insulin secretion (assessed by disposition index, DI120).Later worse may be factor for Proper lower deserves further investigation.
