ABSTRACT
Purpose: The aim of this study was to investigate the effect general anesthesia combined with transversus abdominis plane block on postoperative sleep disorders in elderly patients undergoing gastrointestinal tumor surgery. Methods: For malignant tumors, we recruited 94 patients, aged 65– 80, who were scheduled for radical laparoscopic Using random number table method, randomly divided into two groups, group (group GA) and GT). GA received sedation-aspiration complex regimen, while GT underwent bilateral blocks (TAPB) after same induction anesthesia. Group injected bilaterally equal amounts saline way. Sleep monitored using wearable devices first day before surgery (P1) third (D1 D3). Pittsburgh Quality Index(PSQI) scale used assess sleepiness occurrence (POSD) P1, D1 D3 nights, respectively. Results: Compared GA, showed a significant decrease remifentanil use during (P< 0.05). At D1, an increase ratio deep rapid eye movement (REM), along wakefulness D3, proportion REM continued PSQI scores significantly lower at both In addition, incidence POSD visual analog (VAS) 0.5h 6h activity decreasing trend However, no differences observed between groups condition, intraoperative remedial analgesia analgesic pump presses (P> Conclusion: General reduces dosage opioids abdominal surgery, especially alleviates pain oncology improves quality, disorders.
