ABSTRACT
Abstract: Sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP) refers to the sudden and of an epileptic patient with no other health issues, during normal activity, for whom particular cause can be found. The exact SUDEP has not been established yet; however, it is assumed caused by multiple organ failure involving respiratory cardiovascular systems. Some known risk factors are generalized tonic-clonic seizure, frequent early onset epilepsy, long duration nocturnal combined therapy antiepileptics. A number seizure-related cardiac arrhythmia cases have reported. Arrhythmias mostly benign tachycardia or bradycardia, ventricular fibrillation (VF) asystole very rare. It considered that fatal a SUDEP. Here, we describe case near-SUDEP who was successfully revived without complications immediate defibrillation automated external defibrillator cardiopulmonary resuscitation, although VF occurred after convulsive seizure. Based on our experience, when treating one should always keep mind possibility as seizure-induced emergency situation arrest, even young healthy adults. Keywords: arrhythmia,
