Evaluation of C-Reactive Protein and Associated Factors Among Patients Suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

ABSTRACT
Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune inflammatory disorder, which associated with increased pro-inflammatory mediators to induce an elevation in acute-phase response, migration of immune cells and swelling synovial joints. Evaluation the level C-reactive protein risk factors RA patients was main aim this study. Identifying association between disease activity (hsCRP) socio-demographic characteristics another study.Institution-based cross-sectional study conducted at Rheumatology Clinic Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital. In study, hsCRP measured both case control groups. Simple descriptive statistics, multivariate analysis, independent sample t-test were utilized for statistical analysis.
