ABSTRACT
We report choroidal findings by means of enhanced depth imaging spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (EDI-OCT) in a patient with idiopathic uveal effusion syndrome (IUES).A 41-year-old man was referred to us ciliochoroidal and non-rhegmatogenous retinal detachments. Sclerectomies sclerostomies were performed at the equator lower quadrants, resulting resolution EDI-OCT demonstrated low-reflective areas outer choroid. The subfoveal thickness measured vertically from border RPE inner sclera 787 μm which significantly thicker than normal value (272 ± 90 μm, n = 131) obtained age-matched controls. The made have provided additional evidence that alterations play role pathological process IUES.
