ABSTRACT
Several studies have found that centromere protein K (CENPK) is overexpressed in several tumour types and promotes tumor progression. However, there has been little research on the role of CENPK progression hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).The expression HCC tissues was quantified by Western blot quantitative real-time PCR. Cells were transfected with lentiviral plasmids containing shRNA sequences targeting YAP1 to silence YAP1. Cell Counting Kit-8 assay, colony formation wound healing transwell invasion assay performed evaluate cell growth, migration, cells. Tumorigenicity used detect effect growth investigate epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) markers YAP1.Compared adjacent non-tumor tissues, aberrantly upregulated tissues. Furthermore, knockdown significantly inhibited proliferation, invasion, EMT Mechanistically, we identified responsible for tumor-suppressive effects The inhibitory silencing partially reversed restoration expression. Our results suggested CENPK-YAP1-EMT axis plays a critical regulating malignant progression, indicating this as potential therapeutic target HCC.
