ABSTRACT
Inositol polyphosphate 4-phosphatase type II (INPP4B), a member of the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway, plays vital role in initiation and progression cancers. However, its biological pancreatic cancer remains largely undiscovered. Our study aimed to investigate effects INPP4B on proliferation clinical relevance.INPP4B expression data were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) databases. Clinicopathological survival retrieved TCGA database. CCK8 colony formation assays performed measure proliferative capacity cancer. Tumor xenograft models established abilities vivo.INPP4B was upregulated tissue compared with normal tissue. knockdown inhibited cell promoted apoptosis vitro vivo. also reduced AKT phosphorylation. Moreover, associated poor overall disease-free survival, Cox regression analysis showing that could serve as an independent prognostic marker. ROC curve showed possessed moderate diagnostic value.Collectively, is oncogenic gene potential marker marker, suggesting it be novel therapeutic target for
