ABSTRACT
Propofol has been identified to perform anti-tumor functions in glioma. However, the molecular mechanisms underlying propofol-induced prevention on migration and invasion of glioma cells remain unclear.Cell proliferation, were measured by 3-(4,5)-dimethylthiahiazo(-z-y1)-3,5-di-phenytetrazoliumromide assay transwell assay, respectively. The expression microRNA (miR)-206 Rho-associated coiled coil-containing protein kinase 1 (ROCK1) was detected quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction. Western blot used measure activation PI3K/AKT pathway. interaction between miR-206 ROCK1 analyzed using dual-luciferase reporter RNA immunoprecipitation pull-down assay.Propofol treatment inhibited migration, invasion, pathway cells. MiR-206 decreased tissues cells, while propofol exposure induced upregulation Besides that, we also found overexpressed enhanced propofol-mediated inhibition Subsequently, confirmed be a target miR-206. elevated but reduced rescue indicated that miR-206/ROCK1 axis involved cells.Propofol blocking through axis, suggesting an effective clinical implication for anesthetic prevent metastasis
