ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to observe the preventive effect flavonoids extracted from Malus asiatica Nakai leaves (FMANL) on esophageal cancer in mice, especially ability FMANL regulate interleukin 17 (IL-17) signaling pathway during process. The C57BL/6J mice were treated with 4-nitroquinoline N-oxide (4NQO) induce cancer, and visceral tissue index serum indexes used verify FMANL.The experimental results showed that can effectively control changes caused by cancer. could increase cytokine levels 10 (IL-10), monocyte chemotactic protein 1 (MCP-1) decrease tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), interferon-γ (IFN-γ), 6 (IL-6), 12p70 (IL-12p70) also reduce CD3+, CD4+, CD8+ enhance CD19+ mouse peripheral blood lymphocytes. qPCR Western blot analysis down-regulate mRNA expression IL-17, 23 (IL-23), beta (IL-1β), chemokine (C-X-C) ligand (CXCL1), 2 (CXCL2), S100 calcium-binding A8 (S100A8), A9 (S100A9), matrix metalloprotein 9 (MMP-9), 13 (MMP-1) High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) detection contained chemicals, including rutin, hyperoside, isoquercitrin, dihydroquercetin, quercitrin, hesperidin, myricetin, baicalin, neohesperidin dihydrochalcone, quercetin. It be concluded prevent experimentally induced its effects might obtained compounds present FMANL.
