ABSTRACT
Purpose: To evaluate the impact of several factors on patient's perception quality life in a group patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Patients and methods: In this cross-sectional study, 198 T2DM were enrolled according to consecutive-case population-based study design. all participants, was measured using index – version III proposed by Ferrans Powers. We evaluated anthropometric diabetes-related (ie, history glycemic control) life. Results: The presence complications associated decreased life: retinopathy (1 vs 5 points; P <0.001), chronic kidney disease (-1 neuropathy <0.001). A significant reverse correlation found between depression's severity (Spearman's r =-0.345; <0.001) body mass =-0.158; =0.026). positive association self-care activities =0.338; No control, duration, age, gender, or smoking status. Conclusion: improve life, special care should be given modifiable factors: prevention treatment complications, depression, weight loss obese overweight patients. Keywords: diabetes,
