ABSTRACT
Problematic smartphone use (PSU) has been increasing hastily in recent decades, and it become inseparable during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially among students who are at risk of problematic use. Therefore, present study aimed to investigate prevalence associated factors PSU pandemic Bangladeshi students.A total 601 were recruited through an online-based cross-sectional survey that was conducted between October 7 November 2, 2020. The collected information related socio-demographics, behavioral health, internet behaviors, depression, anxiety, PSU. Independent samples t-test one-way ANOVA performed relationship studied variables Multiple linear regression analysis also used for investigating explanatory power predictive models PSU.Surprisingly, about 86.9% scored be users (≥21 out a 36 based on Smartphone Application-Based Addiction Scale).
