ABSTRACT
This study evaluated the environmental occurrence of fifty-one pesticides, pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs) in surface drinking water samples collected southern Brazil over a 4-year period. The method used involved stage based on solid-phase extraction, followed by liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry.Thirty compounds were detected (22 different pesticides 8 PPCPs) at least four identified more than 50% samples.Atrazine was most frequently pesticide it found concentrations between 5 49 ng L -1 .From PPCPs, glibenclamide, methylparaben nimesulide commonly both samples. Results showed extent to which traces PPCPs present from this region.
