Assessment of platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy in prevention of chronic wound complications

ABSTRACT
Background: Delayed wound healing is a key factor in the development of chronic complications so we can utilize promotion properties platelet rich plasma decreasing incidence these complications. Aim work:To evaluate effectiveness therapy prevention after surgical debridement various types tissue infection.Patients and Methods: A total number 50 patients with open wounds resulting soft infection were included this study, two groups 25 for each divided randomly.Group treated while group B was control ordinary dressing.The monitored every other day first week then until complete achieved pain, dimensions over three weeks, infection, full recovery time residual complications.Results: patients, mean age 22.35 years them 37 males 13 females.There statistically significant difference between pain score 3.8 5 B. As regard weeks treatment there 2.5 cm 4 rate 2% 28 days 20% respectively.In six cases had 3rd cycle 4th showed failure recovery.Conclusion: PRP seems to be safe effective enhancing
