ABSTRACT
Biological experiments were carried out at Agronomy Seed Lab., Dept., Faculty of Agriculture, Ain Shams University and Center For Genetic Engineering Biotechnology ACGEB, during 2016/2017 season. Priming its duration investigated whereas different types priming (hydro-priming, osmopriming salt-priming) periods each type (short- medium long periods) stuied. Newly harvested soybean seeds cultivar (Giza 111) submitted from Field Crop Institute, Agricultural Research (ARC). It was found that enhanced germination percentage significantly low performance 40% to 51%, 68% 75.5% for hydration, salt respectively. Extending exposing period the longest gave maximum increment in seed germination. Maximum enhancement achieved when calcium chloride solution used (48 hrs.) giving value 96.0%. Such reached 140% as compared with control. noticeable increasing soaking examined this investigation accelerated rate a level.
