ABSTRACT
Background: Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have emerged as an alternative educational platform for disseminating information globally.Universities are increasingly investing in the development of MOOCs addressing public health issues, such menstrual disorders.These courses aim to raise awareness and provide up-to-date, evidence-based content students public.In Egypt, where a high percentage females experience disorders, creating engaging MOOC on this topic nursing can empower them manage their own symptoms improve patient care support.Objective: The study aimed develop disorders female explore its effect knowledge satisfaction.Setting: This pre-experimental was conducted obstetrics gynecological department, faculty Alexandria.Subjects: subjects included all (103 students) who were enrolled Obstetric Gynecological Nursing Department during second semester academic year 2020-2021 agreed participate study.Tools: two tools used data collection: Female Students' questionnaire about Menstrual Disorders Satisfaction Scale MOOC.Results: showed highly significant improvement students' after participation disorder.A majority expressed level satisfaction with MOOC.Conclusion: had positive enhancing knowledge, thereby positively influencing course understanding disorders.The MOOC's diverse features, including flexibility, accessibility, interactive elements, visual audio components, high-quality content, learning community likely contributed success facilitating acquisition, ultimately overall satisfaction.Recommendation: recommends that be integrated into curriculum way complements enhances existing while fostering culture self-directed learning.Moreover.nurse educators should provided access necessary resources developing specific specialties expertise.
