ABSTRACT
In this paper, studies on braced frames are presented to study their behavior under the influence of seismic loads.Steel frame systems considered an efficient and economical technique resist horizontal maintain lateral deformation buildings effect wind loads.Among these studies, a was conducted at University California -Berkeley, America, in 2012-2013 by Lai Mahin.This laboratory tests for three full-scale one-bay two-story with different cross sections braces such as square-HSS, circular-HSS wide-flange I beam.A three-dimensional model is validate test, using ABAQUS program.In model, non-linear material properties used each part model.Two types loading developed, nonlinear static dynamic.A comparison made between results experimental test numerical which showed that good agreement results.
