ABSTRACT
Background: To evaluate the efficacy of speckle tracking echocardiography (STE) in detecting existence, degree, and intensity coronary artery affection patients with suspected disease (CAD).This study aimed to Investigate ability STE identify size, individuals a diagnosis CAD.Methods: This cross-sectional enrolled 200 candidates COD.Patients underwent angiography.Global longitudinal peak systolic strain(GLPSS) was measured linked angiography findings for every subject. Results: ROC analysis done GLPSS predicting single-vessel affection. It revealed significant AUC 0.713, confidence interval 95 percent ranging from 0.555-0.871(P = 0.013).The best cutoff ≤-18, at which specificity sensitivity were 53.8 83 percent.ROC multi-vessel 0.908 (P < 0.001).The ≤ -11, 89.6 87.7 percent. Conclusion: Twodimensional predicts degree CAD high specificity.
