Effect of Work Environment on Staff Nurses' Perception of Self-Leadership and Attitudes Toward Safety Culture

ABSTRACT
Background: The work environment plays a significant role in shaping staff nurses' self-leadership and attitude toward safety. It is essential to recognize the profound impact that workplace setting can have on ability exhibit qualities attitudes towards promoting robust safety culture within organization. Aim: current study aims explore effect of perception culture. Research questions: What are perceptions their environment? self-leadership? culture? Design: Descriptive-Correlational research design used this study. Setting: was conducted at Al kasr El Ainy Dar Fouad Hospitals. Sample: Cross-sectional purposive sampling consisted 200 nurse who working ICU governmental private hospitals. Tools: four tools were for data collection Tool one: personal work-related Sheet, two: questionnaire, three: Self-leadership questionnaire four: Safety Attitudes Questionnaire. Results: highly perceived hospital (78%) they low it (36%) hospital, (76%) moderately (52%) (96%) (93%). Conclusion: there statistical positive correlation (r=0.216, p=0.002) between environment, self-leadership. There (r=-0.345, p=0.00) And also, statistically significance (R2=0.05, Beta=0.216, (R2=0.12, Beta=0.345, p=0.00). Recommendation: Nurse Manager should focus providing clear communication channels, supportive leadership, teamwork opportunities, adequate resources enhance environment. Promoting skills among nurses through training, feedback mechanisms, recognition programs further reinforce Also, head empower provide opportunities collaboration foster skills.
