The kidney is an essential part of the urinary system responsible for hormone secretion and blood filtration from waste products.Nephrotoxicity (NEP) one most popular diseases originates environmental toxic agents a wide spectrum therapeutic drugs.Olive oil (OO) among natural oils extracted olives.It offers many health benefits against chronic has immunostimulant role.The study was designed to predict reno-protective impact OO opposing NEP.The research model performed using three groups adult male albino rats (n=30); control group, NEP induced group by carbon tetrachloride, third protected OO.Kidney function evaluated measuring serum urea, creatinine, uric acid, electrolytes.Further, oxidative stress parameters, thiobarbituric acid reactive substances, nitric oxide, reduced glutathione were analyzed in renal tissue homogenate.In addition, ELISA technique assessed both tumor necrosis factor-alpha interleukin-6.The histopathological also inspected.The results demonstrated that excellent protective effect, such as greatly restoring higher level parameters injury.Further, declined inflammation fibrosis compared NEP.Therefore, due promising nephroprotective potentiality, it could be used avoid disorders linked stress.It strongly recommended conduct further on its application.
