ABSTRACT
Background: In reconstructive surgery, the perforator flap procedure involves removing skin and/or subcutaneous fat from a distant or nearby portion of body in order to restore excised part. Isolated perforators deep vascular system are what provide its blood supply. The trapezoidal-shaped keystone island is effectively two linked V-Y flaps. Objectives: we aimed this study determine feasibility and safety managing various limb defects. Patients Methods: who were presented plastic surgery department at Suez Canal University Hospital with leg deformities subject planned cross-sectional study. 15 patients included study; 10 (66.67%) men 5 (33.33%) women had soft tissue abnormalities. underwent history-taking process that gathering information about their demographics, medical histories, comorbidities, surgical indications. Defect characteristics placements also evaluated, as hospitalization sequelae. Results: lengths faults ranged 1 cm cm, p-value < 0.001. There substantial relationships between actual means score's component components samples respective variables, according descriptive statistics POSAS Observer scale constituents' mean scores (p-value <0.001). Regarding population study, there was statistically significant variation distribution problems. remaining (Fisher's exact test's = 0.001) showed one more difficulties, while 13 did not exhibit any complications. Conclusion: offers sensitive cover, reduces need for microsurgical procedures, shortens length operation. It simple safe solution covering variety least amount morbidity.
