ABSTRACT
OBJECTIVE: We aimed to determine and compare grief, depression, post-traumatic stress scores in women who underwent termination of pregnancy due fetal anomaly the first vs. second-trimester pregnancy. STUDY DESIGN: Forty-three for were subdivided into two categories this prospective-cohort study: First-trimester group, which was defined as performed <14 weeks gestation, Second-trimester between 20 28 Eight after pregnancy, Beck Depression Inventory, Perinatal Grief Scale-short version, Impact Event Scale-Revised with face-to-face interviews. RESULTS: Twenty-four first-trimester group 19 enrolled. Post-traumatic (41.6% 73.6%, p=0.031). CONCLUSION: Our study indicates that causes severe psychiatric problems most women. Depression, are more prominent second than trimester.
