ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) is a growing global public health concern. This study aimed to investigate the presence of bacteria and antibiotic genes in environment, more specifically sewage bioaerosol samples collected at Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). Bacterial species were identified tested for sensitivity. In addition, bla CTX-M, SHV, TEM KPC genotypes, including those related carbapenems, detected by PCR. The results this research are extremely important understanding mechanisms involved antimicrobial preventing dissemination these antibiotic-resistant microorganisms. contributes identification sources environment implementation AMR control prevention strategies while preserving effectiveness antibiotics health.
