ABSTRACT
Language brokering describes the task in an intercultural language event undertaken by children families with one or two non-national languaged parents caregivers. This paper examines complex issues involved being a broker and explores these as they apply to group of adolescents Chinese UK. The findings show that for activities undertake are not only demanding, but make significant economic contribution family life.
