ABSTRACT
Background: Geraniol is a terpene alcohol occurring in the essential oils of several aromatic plants. It commercially used as fragrance compound cosmetics and products household. possesses number biological properties. Objective: To study effect geraniol on toxicity induced by paracetamol. Methods: In present study, at final concentration 0.0005, 0.0025, 0.0050 0.0075 M was mixed diet along with paracetamol third instar larvae transgenic Drosophila melanogaster (hsp70-lac Z)Bg9 were allowed to feed it for 24 hrs. Results: Larvae exposed various doses showed dosedependent decrease activity β-galactosidase, tissue damage, oxidative stress markers, DNA damage apoptosis. The results suggest that potent reducing Drosophila. Conclusion: Hence, concluded toxic effects Drosophila,
