ABSTRACT
There is great concern worldwide about air and water pollution arising from N-fertilizer. Considering the expansion of agriculture fertilization practices in Argentina, objective this study was to determine effect Nfertilizers on soil N dynamics then relationship with nitrate concentration aquifers. Soil samples were taken during a maize crop cycle two agricultural farms under different treatments: UAN (urea, ammonium tiosulfate, 110 kg ha-1); UREA 60 ha-1). treatment produced an increase content (from 6 550 mg kg-1 respectively) 71% aquifers sampled exceeded 45 l-1. Our results indicate that uan application losses did not residual N, suggesting high amount nitrates would arise losses.
