ABSTRACT
Preliminary screening study revealed that the methanolic extract of stem T. indica showed xanthine oxidase inhibitory activity in a concentration-dependent manner.EA fraction was selected to be further due its potential inhibit enzyme with IC 50 value 21.14 µg/ml which lower than MeOH extract, 42.02 µg/ml.Further separation and purification EA led isolation two known compounds. Those compounds were identified by analysis their spectroscopic data comparisons literature betulinic acid 5,7-dihydroxyl-8-methoxyflavone.
