ABSTRACT
Decrease of lymphocyte  apoptosis is one factor that leads to chronic airway inflammation in allergic asthma. Previous studies revealed the role interleukin (IL)-4 preventing apoptosis; however there are few about lymphocyte-Bax and its relationship with IL-4 asthma. The aim study to demonstrate via inactivation bronchioli and lungs asthmatic mice. It a randomized control group experimental . subject was Balb/c mice that categorized into 2 groups: asthma non-asthma. Asthma sensitized by ovalbumin intraperitoneally day 0 14, followed inhalation every 2-3 days for 6 weeks. In week 8, all were terminated. expression examined through immunohistochemistry method, whereas TUNEL method. Independent sample t-test, Mann Whitney U test, regression analysis, path analysis used statistical confident interval 95%. The specimens were obtained from 18 (9 each group). Lymphocyte was similar between groups (p=0.1 16), additionally decreased (p=0.003). This indicated low activity group.
