ABSTRACT
With rising longevity, increasing numbers of older people are experiencing changes in their everyday family and social life, financial status, a greater number chronic conditions affecting health. We took the opportunity to explore these relationships with worry group volunteer community-living elderly ( n = 310). Findings showed that those under 75 years age had higher risk worrying (OR 1.8, 95% CI 1.0–3.1) compared groups. Women worried more than men an important finding was health such as arthritis hip knee were prone who healthy or acute 3.5, 1.4–8.9). This latter suggests importance placed on role maintaining functional capacity perform life skills.
