ABSTRACT
Recent studies showed that attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a lifelong which may be seen in adults as well children. However, information about the relationship between ADHD and general medical conditions adulthood limited. This case-control study aims to determine whether symptoms are associated with extremity fractures their clinical characteristics.Forty patients (25 male 15 female; aged 18-50 years) who were due 40 control subjects enrolled. Childhood present of participants assessed using Wender Utah Rating Scale (WURS) Adult Self-Report (ASRS), respectively. Trauma type, reason trauma, fracture localization, hospitalization requirement, treatment history previous fracture(s) recorded.Total score all subscale scores WURS higher groups compared controls. Patients also had ASRS total hyperactivity-impulsivity subscore than controls did. irritability, inattentiveness, behavioral problems/impulsiveness positively correlated fracture. The whom for was fighting irritability subscore.Our results suggest adults. These findings provide an insight into better understanding negative impact on physical health its sufferer.
