ABSTRACT
The current coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic is holding the world in its grip. Epidemiologists have shown that mortality risks are higher when health care system subjected to pressure from COVID-19. It therefore of great importance maintain providers and prevent contamination. An important group who will be required treat patients with COVID-19 during semiacute surgery. There concerns laparoscopic surgery increases risk contamination more than open surgery; therefore, balancing safety benefit for patient vital.
