ABSTRACT
Background Risk and crisis communication plays an essential role in public health emergency responses. The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered spontaneous intensive media attention, which affected people’s adoption of personal preventive measures their mental health. Objective aim this study was to investigate the associations between exposure COVID-19–specific information (depression sleep quality) self-reported compliance with (face mask wearing hand sanitizing). We also tested whether these were moderated by thoughtful consideration veracity people exposed. Methods A cross-sectional, closed web-based survey conducted among a sample 3035 factory workers at beginning work resumption following outbreak Shenzhen, China. stratified two-stage cluster sampling design used for recruitment.
