ABSTRACT
Background Care personalization is key to the well-being of people with dementia according person-centered care. With development internet things, a large quantity personal data can be collected securely and reliably, which has potential facilitate care for dementia. Yet, there are limited assistive technologies developed this purpose, user acceptance low in nursing homes. Therefore, through data-enabled design approach, digital platform was helping team home personalize care, specifically management behavioral psychological symptoms. Objective This study aimed evaluate real-life context users from following two aspects: (1) explore if could help generating insights on current state each person (2) gather feedback team. Methods The deployed 7 weeks were visualized presented via platform. visualizations analyzed by researchers pattern detection. Meanwhile, asked examine interviewed following: any actions generated examination, usefulness platform, (3) improvements they would like see. Results demonstrated its Insights categorized into “client level,” “ward “team level.” corresponding taken classified “investigation” “implementation.” User varied across team, three aspects improvement identified. Conclusions By evaluating gained applying personalizing care; besides, it offers future some recommendations how integrate context.
